Action Step # 1: Network Marketers Must Genuinely Care For Those That They Lead
One of the major attributes to a great leader, and the reason we feel we have been as successful as we have, is that we genuinely care for each and every single person in our organization. As often as possible, we get to know them personally, and continuously try to get an overall understanding of our organization so we can fulfill their needs as a whole.
It is crucial that a network marketer TRULY cares about those they lead. Just as well it is also essential that they actually get to know their downline on as much of a personal level as possible.
This means going out and talking to those in the organization – even if they are five levels deep – and begin asking them questions. Getting to know them as people and not names on a downline tree, and finding out how they can be best guided to become successful. It is a matter of mentoring them to become great leaders.
Leadership starts at the top and travels all the way down to the person who just became a team member yesterday.
Action Step 2: The Network Marketing Team Must Work Together Toward ONE Paramount Goal.
It is important that the entire team knows what that goal is.
There must be goals formed to attain as a group, and subsequently the team must be motivated to reach those goals.
The best way to do this is to create smaller goals and reward the organization each time they achieve a goal. The reward does not have to be anything monumental…even just telling them that they have done well is usually quite enough.

There is nothing worse than having someone in a leadership role telling someone else what to do when it’s obvious that this person will not be following that same advice. A downline will not respond to this positively, and in fact just the opposite will likely be true.
