Network Marketing Stinks – Unless You’re Good at It!

Network Marketing is a great way to make a living, and it’s a great way to make a significant living. But there are tons of pitfalls that people fall into when taking on this industry.

These pitfalls aren’t all that hard to avoid, but how can you avoid something that you don’t know about right?a-funnel-full-of-leads

So then, let’s get into some of the reasons that you’re might not be seeing the success that you want to see in your network marketing business.

One reason is quite simple. It’s basically the fact that you must always be putting people into your marketing funnel…and well…a lot of network marketers aren’t doing that.

You see, so many people will go out and talk to like 5 or 6 of the people that they know and when none of those people bite then they’re done.

The fact is that the reason a good sponsor, and good upline people have you make a big fat list of 100, 200, or even 500 people on your warm list is because we know that the it takes a lot of kissing frogs to find your prince.

We realize, after already struggling that it is a numbers game. Now that doesn’t mean that you have to look at these people on your list, or any prospect for that matter as a number. Absolutely not, these are human beings and should be looked at as so…but regardless, the majority of people aren’t going to want to join your opportunity.

That doesn’t mean it’s a bad opportunity, it just means that not everyone will be interested, but most likely out of that 100 or more people some will.

But to go beyond your warm list (yes, I realize that that’s a dirty word these days right? You’ll hear more – much more – from me about that at a later time) you must always have a fresh supply of leads and prospects going through your funnel at all times, because even the ones that do show interest may drop off.

However, it only takes a few pearls in a sea of oysters to radically change your life forever.

But you’ll get nowhere without having a constant flow, and that I can promise you.

A Second Reason, and you may not want to repeat this to them (or you may)…is that your “upline” or “Sponsor” probably stinks at network marketing.

I’m sorry to say this but most of the people out there pretending to run network marketing businesses are basically the blind leading the blind.

A big part of your responsibility when you’re searching for an opportunity is that you find the right people to mentor you!

To put it in perspective, if you were paying to go to school to learn how to run a business, would you do your research and make sure that the teachers you chose knew what they were doing? That’s why people want to get into the best Universities in the world right, because of the professors that they’ll be learning from.

You need to be even more diligent than that.

You need to make sure that who you choose as mentors in the MLM industry are as successful as you want to get someday. Even more so, you want to be sure that they are teachers who can actually show you what to do. That brings me to the last point of…

And a last but certainly not least reason would be that you’re probably not seeing success in Network Marketing because…

You lack a SYSTEM.

Now let me clarify what I don’t mean by system. I don’t mean that you have a system of funded proposals where you’re a Renegade Marketer, and you’re selling ebooks that teach others to do the same.

That does have its place down the road, but to be honest, that’s truly nothing more than being an affiliate marketer in the Network Marketing niche. You’re an affiliate marketer, selling to the network marketing crowd. There’s nothing wrong with that, but it’s not the way to build a true global network marketing business.

What you need is a system that’s been put in place by successful network marketers who have seen results with this system. More importantly, who have a downline full of other distributors seeing success with that same system.

This system should have the elements of bringing people into your marketing funnel, getting them passionate about your business, bringing them into your business, and teaching them how to market their business the way that you learned.

That’s it! It’s simple but not easy, just like all things in life worth achieving.

Hopefully you’ll go to work immediately and start turning these five reasons around and begin to see success in your network marketing business.
