3 Ways to Make Your Prospects Your Fans and Want to Work with ONLY YOU!
There’s a lot of competition and surely there’s people out there who know more than you do in this business. And you may have the fear that your prospects are going to come across them and abandon you for them.
That’s a pretty legitimate fear actually and it might happen, but here are 3 things that you can do to clinch your prospects to you…
1) Give Them Tons of Value… You see a lot of the big dogs in the MLM business will fall back on their name alone. That’s a good gig if you can get it, but the fact is that as soon as someone like you comes along and gives some serious value then YOU are going to win the game. There are a few reasons for this, but one of the biggies is a subconscious appeal called the Law of Reciprocation which basically means that your prospects feel like they’re bonded to you, and almost owe you, because you’ve given them something of value. Useful KNOWLEDGE! There’s plenty more to it, but that alone will make you stand out in the crowd.
2) Become Credible Yourself… Listen, most people who are looking for a home business really doesn’t know who the players are. You’re in the game and so you know, but your prospects don’t know the difference between you and Mark Yarnell.
But you can give yourself that persona of credibility that they have, so that when they come across you first, they’ll see you in that light as well.
One way to do that is to have articles written by you spread wide across the internet. Not everyone realizes that anyone can add an article to an article directory, and so seeing your name with “Expert Author” next to it really does give you credibility in their eyes.
You can also write and self-publish your own book, both online and offline. Now days it’s easier than ever, and even simply having an ebook makes you look like a big shot.
Another great way is to get your self published in a legitimate magazine. You can approach magazine editors and pitch a story, and one story is all you need to get your name out there.
Press Releases are also a great way to get attention from the big wig news stations and therefore can give you instant expert credibility in the MLM business or any business for that matter.
3) Show You Care More… So here’s the bottom line. Your prospects care a lot less about you and the big guns of MLM than you think. What do they care about most? You got it… Themselves! They have bills piling up, and they’re tired of breaking their back working 60 hour days, so they don’t care if you’re a bum off the street, the Pope, or Donald Trump… as long as you can prove that you care about them so much that you’ll bend over backwards to show them the solution to their getting out of the rat-race.
Caring will get you further than most realize with their MLM business, and it’s the first and most important ingredient of being a great MLM sponsor. So start genuinely caring and figuring out new ways to prove that you do care, and you’ll win the game nearly each and every time.
But here’s the problem that most people in the MLM business have. Sure they care about their prospects but they truly can’t keep their prospects interested long because they don’t have a true system for those prospects to jump into and start earning an income.
The solution to that problem should be your upline, but that’s not always the case. More times than not these days, a person’s upline doesn’t have anymore of a clue than they do.
