MLM Marketing – What You Need to Focus On When the Leads Aren’t Coming In!

MLM MarketingThere comes a time for nearly everyone in this industry when your MLM marketing seems to be getting you nowhere.

You feel like you’re treading water. Like a hamster on a wheel. Basically nothing you do produces any leads, and you get that initial feeling of panic.

Well that’s the last thing you want to do. Panicking will help nothing. What you need to do is begin to rely on your assets that you have at your disposal for keeping your income at least where it’s at.

For you, as an MLM’er, that asset is your downline.

That’s right, in MLM, when the going gets tough, the tough don’t get going. They go to their downline and make sure that they’re on the ball. That’s why it’s called residual income after all.

How to Ensure Your Downline Is Working When Your MLM Marketing Is in a Slump

First of all let me start by saying that you should keep trudging along with what you’re doing when you’re in this situation. You shouldn’t stop writing articles, talking to people, sending emails, writing blog posts, whatever it is that you do. Just keep it up, because eventually if that stuff was working already, it’s going to kick back in.

In the meantime you need to reach out to you deadline and get them motivated to produce.

You can do this a couple of ways…

First…Send Out an Email Just Telling Them How Proud of Them You Are – Believe it or not, flattery will sometimes get you very far. The thing is that people are so used to the employer mentality where they only hear from their boss when things are bad. So when you pop in out of the blue and praise them, and tell them you’re proud of them, you’ll be surprised how that will kick many of them into gear.

Second…Create Some Competition – There’s nothing like a little competition to get the juices flowing. People sometimes become stagnate because they’re bored. All you have to do is host a contest with a running board for whatever it is that you want.

Since your marketing is sort of lagging, then volume is probably what you need. Therefore hold a contest for who can create the most volume in a given 30 day period. The prize could be whatever you want. You can buy a prize, or if things are really tough then you can just have a “bragging rights” contest. You’ll be surprised how many people will kick some serious but for bragging rights alone.

So if you’re MLM marketing is in a bit of a rough spot, there’s two ways that you can use to get your downline to pick up some of the slack…which is what the whole MLM concept is about.
