There’s something about this industry that really can be very annoying, which holds people back in a huge way. It’s prevalent and there’s a good reason for that. I’ll explain the reason in just a second. First let me explain what the big problem that’s holding you back is…

The big problem is sometimes called the “shiny object syndrome”. That’s become a bit cliché in ours and the internet marketing industry, but the fact is that it’s prevalent. What is this syndrome? Essentially it’s when you bounce around from marketing technique to marketing technique, and always try to find that method that’s going to make you rich overnight.

The get rich quick mindset if you will?

So then, if that’s not what works, then what does work? That’s ultimately the question isn’t it? Well the thing that works for those who have created success in Multi Level Marketing is simply setting a solid foundation using The BASICS!

What the heck has become so wrong about the basics? The solid foundation of marketing is out there for everyone to see and learn from over and over, in various different forms. “The Science of Getting Rich”, “Tested Advertising Methods”, “The Ultimate Sales Letter”, “The Marketing Rebel Rant”, “Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion”, “Ogilvy on Advertising”, “The Gary Halbert Letter”, etc.

Guaranteed that if you were to read those books and publications, you will learn more about marketing than 99% of the people in the world! That goes for all the snooty tooty kids majoring in marketing in college as well.

These are the foundational principles that YOU must know and use. Everything else in one way or another is simply rehashing those foundational books. Of course there are times when you need to learn a certain skill to really be able to use the foundational stuff.

For instance building a website, starting a blog, getting leads, etc. But that’s when you go out and you buy 1 solid instructional product on that topic, and stick with it. You don’t have to buy 5 different books on creating a blog. Creating a blog is creating a blog. Once you learn it then it’s just foundational and you build from there with knowledge that you can likely acquire for free.

Here’s the point.
If you’re doing multi level marketing and using marketing principles that work, then you’ve got to learn the basics. There’s a chance that if you’ve chosen wisely that your upline sponsor is pretty well versed in the basics of Multi Level Marketing.

But it’s important that you don’t do what most people do…

It’s important that you don’t ignore the advice just because it’s the basics and it’s boring. Most people don’t like the basics because they’re not as fun as the hyped up crap that promises to make you $100,000 your first month. But what actually gets you to that $100,000 are the basics.

So there you go…

If you want to become successful in multi level marketing it’s time to stop looking for that get rich quick opportunity and instead start learning and applying the basics. Your multi level marketing business will grow by leaps and bounds.
