Ok, I say that a little bit jokingly, but the truth is that it’s a tough business, and you’ve got to be willing to do what’s necessary (but ethical) if you’re going to keep up with the big boys when it comes to recruiting.

And the great thing about it is that you CAN be extremely ethical, and keep up with all those that aren’t…if not even surpass them when it comes MLM recruiting efforts.

What You’re Likely Missing In Your MLM Recruiting

When it comes to MLM recruiting, you’ve got to be able to get people to see the benefits of joining your opportunity under YOU. That’s well…sort of a given…but people still don’t even get that part right most of the time, so it’s hard to even think of it as a “given” in all honesty.

But in case you didn’t know, that’s what you need to do. Make people see the benefits of joining with you. Make people understand that by joining under you, they get the absolute best chance of becoming successful.

However, you can’t just say that. You have to mean it, and back it up. You have to deliver on your promises, or you’ll see an attrition rate like one you couldn’t even imagine. People will be rushing to get out of your organization faster than you can say “where did everyone go?”

Now here’s the other thing that you need when it comes to MLM recruiting. It’s actually an extremely useful psychological trigger. It’s extremely influential, and it helps to get people to do what you want them to very fast.

What is it?


Let me ask you, have you ever had a time when you were left saying, “man, I have all of these leads that might join” Or “I have all these darned people saying that they’re going to join, but they haven’t joined yet…what gives?”

Well the fact is that you haven’t created enough urgency. You haven’t created urgency that gives these prospects a good swift kick in the butt and makes them feel the need to join ASAP. They should be digging in their couch cushions for enough to invest into their business. Not really of course, and you shouldn’t get people invest their last money if they can’t, but it gives you the idea of the urgency that you need to be successful in MLM recruiting.
Creating urgency isn’t all that hard.

Really the only thing that you have to do is to get people to see a reason WHY to join now, rather than later.

No that doesn’t mean that you create some stupid false deadline, although deadlines do work incredibly well… you never want to use them unless they’re true deadlines. Don’t insult people’s intelligence, and don’t do to others what you don’t want people doing to you.

Words to live by right?

But you can take real up upcoming events, and make it part of your recruiting. For instance, if let’s say there’s a big conference coming up in your company. You can use that as a deadline, or a REASON for someone to join. “Mr. Prospect, you may want to join sooner than later, because there’s this great convention coming up in 2 weeks, but it’s only for people who are distributors for the company. Every year at this convention, I leave and my income shoots up simply from what I learn. I’d hate to see you miss the chance of that too…”

You see how that works, you simply took something that was truly happening, and instead of just an event, you turned it into a deadline. You have to do this with care, because you don’t ever want to be manipulative. The trick is to find things and reasons that you truly care about.

If you’re really passionate about that convention, and you really do see your income shoot through the roof every year after the event, then your passion and sense of urgency will be honest and true, and will work amazingly well.

I can almost guarantee that if you’ll urgency in your MLM recruiting, it’s very hard not to see your recruiting efforts grow.
