Isn’t this the same guy who rails and rails about how “belly-to-belly” is the way to go… and how traditional network marketing isn’t dead, and may actually be better than ever before since everyone and their grandmother is online trying to market their opportunity?

Well yes, I am that same guy, but

But, at the same time, I’ve always been the type of person to utilize what works, and throw out the rest. I’ve also not railed against the internet, I’ve only railed against replacing traditional MLM with it, rather than supplementing with internet marketing.

I’ve actually very much embraced the internet and what it can do for network marketing and I use these strategies everyday.

So when I say I take what works and use it, that’s precisely what I’ve done with email marketing for my network marketing business.

One of the things that I love about email marketing is how personal that you can make the messages, and make your prospects go from even the coldest to a warm prospect in just a matter of days by utilizing some very smart email marketing techniques.

Let’s face it, email marketing is how we keep in touch with our friends and family, and therefore it’s a very comforting mode of communication, and if you use that in your marketing then you can do really well with it.

Now I don’t mean that you should ever be deceiving with your emails or subject lines because that’s just plain stupid. Doing that will do nothing but get your prospects annoyed. But you can utilize the comfort factor to bond with your prospects in a very short amount of time, making them more receptive to your messages.

So how do you do it?

Well here are 3 Very Effective Ways to Use Email Marketing

  • Keep your messages short and on point. Nobody wants to sit and read an entire novel in their email. The best practice is to send a shorter message, which introduces your readers and prospects to a post on your blog.

This serves a few purposes.  A) It gets the message past the SPAM filters much easier B) It doesn’t scare your reader away when they open up to long blocks of text (Yikes!)  C) Sending them to a blog post gives them a chance to be able to correspond with you directly by letting them make comments on your posts.

This adds a great sense of community.

  • Remember to use a strong subject line. The subject line is what entices readers to open YOUR email instead of the tons of others in their inbox.

The key is to use a benefit and curiosity in your subject line that tells the people what they’ll be able to get once they’ve opened your email. But if you have to choose one over the other, I would go with curiosity. You want to get people wondering what the heck you’re talking about.

But you never want to mislead. Use something that’s on point, but still utilizes the curiosity burden on them and you’ll get huge open rates every time.

  • Educate them through your emails, and don’t be afraid to give away too much good info. Give them really good valuable info and they will pay you in spades for it. In fact give them your biggest secrets right up front for free, and they’ll be chomping at the bit to get more info just like it from you. It’ll also ensure that they’ll read all your emails.

Using email marketing correctly can be a huge benefit to your business, and can skyrocket your income. Now start writing those messages.
