To defend or Not to defend Mlm Marketing
It sucks to have to battle trench mind syndrome, but in your Mlm marketing, you may come across some serious hostile mindsets. These mindsets are burned to your offering, so instead of engaging them in a battle of wits, its best to withdraw and find better fields to land your offering. Antagonists are destructive people in nature and you will have to deal with them. There is absolutely no need to defend your business. Don’t engagement with prospects that are hostile in their comments or thinking. One word answers or the tone are often key indicators that these people will not change their opinion. It doesn’t matter if your little business can save them money, it’s their choice not yours to burn their income. You’re not a superhero, move onto people that ask serious questions about your opportunity.
You may find yourself in the trench mind syndrome, if you allow yourself to engage with these type of people. It’s hard, especially starting out, but you need stable, open minded people that want to change their situations. Nailing down the perfect prospect is nearly impossible. However, knowing when someone is difficult will save countless time. It will also save you energy, by allowing to move on. It’s on them on how they behave and think, and sometimes it can corrupt and corrode the best of us. If you find yourself trapped in a situation, just excuse yourself and leave. Its ok to reboot your thinking away from the situation and move to someone that will listen. In the long run, its dealing with these people is not worth your investment. You may question yourself if you only deal with these type of people. Also avoid the “poor me,” type of personalities, they can be as damaging as well. Filter out the conversation and the noise they pollute and you’ll be fine.
